The Orgoss are a mysterious race of living rock creatures. Seldom seen in the central kingdoms. It is believed there are only 20 or less in existence. That they can live for up to 600 years, are genderless and reproduce asexually through a form of fracturing causing the death of the parent. The Orgoss are vaguely humanoid, ranging in size and often have extra limbs. They are covered in a symbiotic form of lichen on topside regions of there bodies.
Also known as the Elven Stone or the First Elf. Said to be the first elf to transcend it’s celestial heritage and take form on the material plane. Qulaoth was said to have appeared in the first era and had taken on the role of Watcher. (a reoccurring tradition among modern elves) He is accepted as the father of all elves and is worshiped, though less commonly over time, by elves and some beast races. Through him were born the elves of land, or Suloathen. Commonly referred to as the wood elves, the rarely seen ice elves, and the long extinct high and stone elves. He is depicted as being seven feet tall, with stark white skin and hair with an almost stone like quality.
Cosmataeon begins with a short prolog. In which it is the second area, when the races where young and still struggled for survival and a place in the world. Qulaoth sits upon the stone throne of Wuendrust, tallest mountain on the range that lines the northern lands of snow. High above the world of Ehamuuntar, violent flashes of light erupt across the atmosphere. Qulaoth’s eyes open for the first time in ages. The dust and snow shifts from his body as he slowly stands. Gazing upon the blasted horizon, he steps toward the edge of the white stone slab which his throne room. His hand raises and his fingers form a circle around the newly appeared object which would later be known as Vlaist.

In the Kad Lands of the southwest, The Hands of Vok are a small but influential religious group emerging as the first to be able to unify various kinds of beast races. There prophet, a lizardman named Viiseka, has drawn surprisingly large numbers of Orcs and Goblins (+ smaller amounts of other races) to his vague new religion. Which is centered around Vlaist, referred to by most beast races as Eighatet’s Eye. Viiseka speaks as emissary for the Eye, saying that the time of the beasts is finally coming but only after the storm to end storms. He claims only under his “way of the hands” would the beast races survive the coming cataclysm. His words and charisma have drawn many under his banner.
The Word and The Will has kept a close eye on the workings of Viiseka for many years as concerns grew over the groups ever increasing size and the danger they could pose to the empire.
As Cosmataeon begins, The Word & The Will are contacted by The Hands of Vok requesting an audience between the two. Eirdus Nahdanne, the Grand Magus of the council has continually delayed this meeting due to his concerns over the growing doomsday hysteria among the kingdoms. Later on when Eirsdus and The General are returning to the north from the failed invocation of Ahteon, there paths will cross with Viiseka and his followers. And at about the same time the first sighting of the Vlaist Shard will occur.

Matera – The Wandering Goddess, The Blind Mother. A some what forgotten goddess in modern times, though followed by many during her height of worship, from around the 1st era to the 4th. She is the patron of the wanderer, the struggling servant. The Mender of wounds and revealer of paths. A cyclical life death goddess. She is physically represented in a three headed female form. The central head a blinded maiden, the left one bestial, the right a strange stone shape. It is said that in the first era when humanity arose in the world for the first time the Mother Matera reached out to a small tribe under threat and guided them on a path toward growth and strength.. Humanity at the time being under almost constant threat by the surrounding races and savage wildlife of the world. The Kingdom of Agamend and the tribe of Agortot being examples of largely successful followers to the goddess. In the Sixth modern era the worship of Matera has dwindled to small groups scattered among the central human kingdoms. The moving of Matera’s Temple after the Mages Ascension from the Capital City to the remote southeast town of Thairs was symbolic end to large following once had. The now humble temple is run by a small order of priests. The orphans Latere and Tamin Stom live and work at the temple as a priestess and farm hand.
Vieah Vo Soln - (wood elf, female, 96, ranger) Reddish copper skin, Ashy green hair. Very Striking yellowed orange eyes. Fierce and strong willed, she’s an incredibly agile warrior who takes great joy in battle, or the “dance of life”. Somewhat alienating to humans she encounters because of her constant analyzing stare, but with a touch of curiosity. Sent south to witness the fall of mankind’s empire. She was supposed to travel with Mar Undk, her newly joined husband. The first interracial marriage between a barbarian human of the Stag Tribe and a Sle’vinn wood elf. As part of a structured union between the Wood Elves and the human barbarian tribes of Stag, Stone, and Hill. This alliance being forged in secret from, and in opposition to, the Mages Empire. Mar Undk died shortly after they began there trek south, assassinated by a small group with in the wood elf kingdom opposed to the alliance of human barbarians and the Sle’vinn.
